Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Pete Zaferos was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin and attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown where he met his wife Melissa. While attending college in southern Minnesota, Pete and Mel were married in 2006 and have been blessed with seven children. In 2012, Pastor Z. graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.
Prior to serving at Pilgrim, Pastor Z. has served: as a pastoral intern (vicar) at Living Word Lutheran Church in Johnson City, TN; as a church planter and campus ministry leader in Laramie, WY; as president of the Bay Area Life Center in Green Bay, WI; and as lead pastor at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Suamico, WI.
Pastor Z. is excited to live and serve alongside God's people as lead pastor of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, School, and Preschool.
